Throughout my career, I’ve been honored with 7 Emmy® Awards, 2 Gabby Awards (Georgia Association of Broadcasters), and 2 Electronic Media Awards. The works featured here, also highlighted throughout my portfolio, represent a consistent record of creative excellence and results-driven storytelling. I take pride in delivering work that meets the highest professional standards, and when I edit or create something for you, my goal is always to deliver award-worthy results.
Las Vegas Is My Home

Shot on DSLR cameras, Las Vegas Is My Home quickly became one of the city’s most recognized campaigns. It helped solidify 8 News Now’s #1 position in the ratings and drew new sponsorships by tapping into the city’s spirit of resilience after the housing crisis. I edited and designed the final look using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Avid, crafting an emotional visual identity that resonated deeply with viewers. The campaign earned an Emmy® Award and two Electronic Media Awards, including Best in Show.
Colorful Morning

As Brand Manager for 8 News Now This Morning in Las Vegas, I captured the show’s signature mix of light humor and morning optimism through vibrant visuals and upbeat storytelling. I supervised the visual effects, crafted the edit within our Avid suite, and helped establish 8 News Now This Morning as the city’s go-to morning show. The spot earned an Emmy® Award and was featured by 602 Communications as a standout example of effective television image advertising.
8 News Now… Then and Now

Before becoming 8 News Now, KLAS operated under the familiar Eyewitness News banner. As part of the rebranding initiative, I edited and designed this campaign using Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Avid, highlighting the station’s new multiplatform presence — on-air, online, and on social. The refreshed identity drove a ratings boost, expanded digital engagement, and earned an Emmy® Award for Best Station Imaging.

Vegas Christmas

Emmy Award Winner for Best Seasonal Broadcast Promotion
This lighthearted holiday spot celebrated the pride and spirit of Las Vegas with a touch of humor that resonated deeply with both audiences and Emmy judges. Using a clean white backdrop and featuring authentic Las Vegas casino performers, I crafted a playful, memorable message that simultaneously conveyed 8 News Now love for Vegas and wished the community Happy Holidays. The result was a charming and award-winning campaign that captured the city’s personality and festive energy.

Year Ender Atlanta

Winner of a Gabby Award from the Georgia Association of Broadcasters, this year-end sizzle reel celebrated a dynamic year of news and entertainment in Atlanta. Produced and offline-edited in Avid NewsCutter, I crafted this one-minute spot to capture the defining moments that shaped the city in 2016,  balancing emotional resonance with high-energy pacing and editorial precision.
Social Media: Cellphone & Instagram Features

Winner of a Gabby Award from the Georgia Association of Broadcasters for Best Digital-Only Promotion, this short-form social series exemplified my ability to craft compelling content tailored for mobile audiences. As part of a larger initiative I helped lead, we developed social-first creative designed to drive engagement and push viewers toward broadcast. Using simple, bold animations and eye-catching color, I ensured each video delivered impact even when viewed silently on a phone. The final product merged platform-specific strategy with high creative execution.
City Kitty Let Bill Buy It
Emmy Award Winner for Best News Series Promotion
One of my earliest award-winning projects, City Kitty LBBI showcased my ability to turn a lighthearted local story into a memorable, audience-winning promotion. Using stills, a playful sense of humor, and even featuring my own cat, I edited this spot back in the standard-definition days on Final Cut Pro 7.0. What began as a simple, fun segment quickly became a viewer favorite. The result? Earning an Emmy Award and even driving an unexpected bump in ratings for the station.
Get Gephardt Gets Results

Emmy Award Winner for News Imaging
An early Emmy Award win and my first for news imaging, this spot highlighted how Bill Gephardt was always watching out for viewers. By leaning into Bill’s trademark dry humor and his no-nonsense stare, the piece perfectly captured what audiences loved about his stories, that he would stop scammers and get results. I’m especially proud of this spot because it showcases the creative problem-solving that defined my early career. Although shot in standard definition, I achieved a 35mm depth-of-field look by manually adjusting the lens distance from the camera body, creating a cinematic effect with limited tools and resources.
